• Your phone number and whether you are happy to use WhatsApp, if you choose to give them.
• The service you are interested in, any deadline, and the project details you write.
• Your confirmations (privacy policy and, for academic enquiries, our academic integrity terms).

When you contact us by email or WhatsApp

The information you choose to send us in those messages.

To keep the website secure

Our hosting and security provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and to detect spam and abuse, including through the Cloudflare Turnstile check on the enquiry form.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To deliver services if you decide to work with us.
• To protect the website and our inbox from spam and misuse.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Our lawful basis

We process enquiry information because it is necessary to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract, and for our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Security processing relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the website safe.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare — website hosting, security and the Turnstile spam check.
• Resend — delivers enquiry-form messages to our inbox.
• Google (Gmail) — our business email accounts.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to message us there.

These providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they provide for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to respond, to provide any services you request and to keep proper business records. To confirm: a specific retention period (for example, enquiries that do not lead to work deleted after 12 months).

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The Turnstile security check may use strictly necessary storage to work. If we measure visits, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email shopsharksolution@gmail.com. In the United Kingdom you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
